No more curtains! Window films
Light and comfortable even without a curtain. I use different types of window film in different rooms depending on how comfortable I am with privacy. That single sided slide on the side of the living room is working great so far, in particular it seems to be good at blocking out bright daylight interfering with the game's sensor. Best of all: no more curtains! As this is a possibility and I don't want to worry about a thing at night I use a different (brand) white frosted window film in the bedrooms which is nice but completely blocks the view to either side.
- PRIVACY. Pay attention to the visual protection of window films: the visual protection effect is different during the day and at night. Single-sided window film provides more privacy during daytime only, while the outer glass creates a mirror effect. As the outside light dims, the mirror effect of the outside glass gradually disappears, and outsiders can see what's inside. When the inner light is stronger than the outer, the mirror effect is reversed. Don't forget to draw the curtains at night.
