This is a great mirror. I got this as a gift for a friend who loves Hello Kitty and wanted to try it before I gave it to her. The LED light is very bright which is nice but I wish it had an adjustable brightness setting. The magnetic base is very durable. A clear click can be heard when connecting to the base. The magnet is so strong that it is almost impossible to remove it without using force. The mirror itself is a decent size (I put it next to my water bottle for reference), but it's not compatible with most wallets, so I wouldn't say it's super portable. - For everyday use I would still take a compact mirror. It is also not as big as a cosmetic mirror. This is a good mirror for vacations or sleepovers when you may not have better lighting/makeup space. It can also be helpful to take a close-up of your makeup in addition to whatever mirror you're using. The base also allows you to tilt the mirror to customize your look. Instead, it also comes with USB for charging. Batteries, that's really nice. The quality of the mirror and the product in general are excellent. It's a good weight and very well made and packaged. I think it's a good gift but I'm not sure I would buy it for myself. I find the price a bit high. For the price it should at least have adjustable brightness and a case to keep it clean/protected. Overall 4/5 for ease of use but 5/5 for quality!
