My son is 12 years old, 5ft 3in and weighs 105 pounds. He's tall and thin, but not very thin. I read the other reviews and based on them and the size chart I ordered a size 16. The chart says the length would be great but I was concerned the waist would be too big. The pants fit perfectly. I'm so glad I ordered the 16. You might think a 12 or 14 would go with a big 12, but the 16 is great. The material is nice and they look good. Good buy.
