If you look inside you might think it's for M-type SSD as I originally thought, it's actually for M and B-type NVme SSD (type, which has two holes in its bottom). I tested it and it works great on both Mac and Windows. As a tip for buyers to copy their data from an old small drive to a new SSD without risk of loss, there is a live Windows bootable USB file. Called it boot cd, google it and find out how to get it on USB and boot from there. You can copy the entire contents of your old drive to the new drive using the tools there, I did that.
