Assembled a quiet computer: Processor Intel Core i7-3770K Motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H Enclosure Zalman MS800 HDD Western Digital WD10EFRX PSU OCZ OCZ-ZS650W-EU Stands on the floor half a meter. Immediately advice: Change the noisy fan. For 300-400 you can pick up and cherish this cooler. The cooler is the only noise in the system: no matter how it was played in the BIOS, it connected / disconnected the PWM. In general, I configured it to work in passive at low load, it turns on in games and heavy applications. Works spasmodically - there is no smooth increase in speed. Noticeably and annoying (Working with 3D, opening a heavy document or program, saving the drawing in Autocad - there is a significant jump in speed from 1000 to 2022 for example). At 600-900 rpm it can whistle, buzz, crackle. Quiet but audible. Above 1100 rpm without load, the noise of operation is heard - quiet and quite comfortable. With a small load, the noise of work is already heard well, and with a large load it already creates a slight discomfort for work. Large but effective - three-dimensional graphics, games and other load on the percentage (I use the built-in video card) did not warm it up above 40 degrees. I blocked one RAM slot - I don’t consider it a problem yet It is very difficult to put it - in 4 hands with grief they screwed it in half. I don’t think it’s a special problem either - I don’t change thermal paste so often, and good contact with the processor is much more important than 20 minutes spent on installation. : more than six months have passed The standard fan did not change, surprisingly it stopped whistling and buzzing - apparently developed. Plus I increased the speed to 900-1100. The noise subjectively remained the same, or even became a little lower (although I probably just got used to it). I didn’t collect much dust on myself in six months (although this is the merit of the system manager) and it did not affect performance and temperature. Prots cold. I still can't get used to the hopping speed control. Strongly noticeable. In general, there were no new complaints, but rather, on the contrary, they are leveled. I'll probably upgrade my rating from 3 to 3.5.
