Ideal for adding ports to a laptop.
I used this and my gaming laptop as it was missing some USB ports. This allows me to use a mouse button, high speed USB drive, SD card and external DVD drive if needed. This makes it very convenient as I don't have to unplug and plug in devices as needed. All devices work properly and without problems. I didn't use the HDMI connector as it's not needed yet. The only thing I would like to improve is a slightly longer input cable so it can be side mounted. Although sometimes I know that the longer the cable, the slower the transfer speed, maybe this is intentional. Also very happy with it.
