I have had 3 pairs of Yucatan sandals and they are the best, albeit expensive. The straps of these sandals are slightly different, especially the forefoot strap. This is not a fixed part of the pad, but divided into 2 parts, which makes the width of the Velcro much easier to adjust. Great when you need extra width! The downside is that the lining is narrower, the buckle doesn't protect against chafing on the leg, and it's not very comfortable. Very disappointing. Also, these are beautiful sandals, but I'm not sure I like that other strap.
