I've seen foot pedal page turners selling much more expensive than this one so I was a bit nervous when I placed my order. I was attracted by the lower price and hoped the quality wouldn't suffer. I didn't have to worry. This one works just as well as much more expensive models and costs a lot less. It's easy to set up and connect, the battery life lasts long enough, and everything feels solid. It's just as easy to switch between the five modes that control how each pedal works with buttons on the top of the unit. I can't imagine what most people need anymore. I've used it for both music (since it was designed) and to control text scrolling on a teleprompter when working on video projects without a team. It is excellent for both purposes. The only thing to keep in mind is that this is not the best product in the world if you are going to use it on a floor with a very thick plush carpet. I was still able to get it to work in these conditions, but I had to be more careful to actually move the pedal, while there was no problem on a wooden or concrete floor. If you plan to work mostly in carpeted areas, you can put a small piece of plywood under the pedal just in case.
