I have a french bulldog that had leg surgery so he needed a cone. The problem with the cone, especially for unmuzzled dogs, is that they cannot eat or drink with a regular plastic cone. And skittles are uncomfortable to sleep in and keep bumping into walls, table legs, etc. with their plastic skittle. This inflatable donut works great. It's soft, conformable (to an extent as 75% of the circumference is fixed once inflated) and acts like a pillow when you sleep. He can easily reach for food and drink, does not cling to everything in the house, and cannot reach his foot. Well this may not work for longer dogs as they may still be able to reach with it but I am very glad I got this for my pooch. very happy.
