Edits added: 1/12/21 Still disappointed. It doesn't heat very well or consistently even at a high temperature. Some places are warmer than others. I still leave three stars. I think I'm disappointed... But I need more time. First the washing instructions, which we find very cumbersome because I don't have a washing machine that can be specifically programmed. I have found that the blanket does not get hot even at high temperatures. I also didn't realize that one has to be so careful not to use it around pets, not put anything on it etc. There's a whole list of dos and they seem to outweigh them. It doesn't heat up consistently either. Some places are warmer than others. I've only had it a week, so I'll update over time. It's definitely soft and comfortable, so it has everything you need, but you can definitely feel the wires. He's pretty thin.
