The medal itself is very beautiful and very close to that description. The lanyard is a joke -- It doesn't fit an adult, not even a 5 year old -- Took the medal off the lanyard and put it on a dog tag necklace -- This is the second one I've bought -- Gave it to a friend's son to confirm it. He was a little embarrassed that he couldn't even put it around half his neck despite his small stature. The length of the cord should be specified in the description, as should the choice of size. For adults, children, toddlers and babies. and the price was about $5 less - it's hard to believe
