This skirt is quite well made, with nice pleats and piping at the waist. It hangs to just cover my knees (I'm 5ft 7" with a short waist). Now the bad news: the black fabric is of poor quality, it stinks (strong smell of black jeans dye), itches and creases badly. easy. I washed and ironed it before putting it on and as soon as I sat down to put the boots on it became a crumpled mess. Also, it's not as black as it looks on the internet, it's mottled and almost gray. This is a very light material, so it doesn't hold its shape well. The folds of the box will hold up better and hang from a stronger fabric. I would return it but I can't as I've already cut the tags and washed it.
