I use this product to extend my wireless network and improve service quality on the second floor. This product started out pretty well, the internet would drop out from time to time, but restarting the router brought it back online. Today the router failed after 4 months of use and could not be switched on. I speak to the support team and they help me to solve some technical issues but there is no solution. I still had the same problem, the product still wouldn't turn on. Then a customer service rep told me: Customer Service Rep: After checking here because the extension cord is failing, the warranty on this extension cord is no longer valid. Me: ok, i don't understand? My warranty is valid until 2022. Are you saying that my warranty is no longer valid because this product has stopped working? Customer Service Representative: Yes, since the extension cord stops working, the warranty is void. Me: So basically I'm stuck with a defective product. which I have only had for 4 months and there is no way to get a replacement? Support Agent: That's right, I'm sorry. All in all I would not recommend this product, they give you a 2 year guarantee but if the product loses performance they will not replace it. Now I'm stuck with a useless range extender, I wouldn't be upset if it took at least a year but 4 months and you voided my warranty. It's just bad business and service.
