My Pixel 3xl (Snapdragon 845) was too slow so I went to gsmarena and put the criteria I need in the phone - 8GB RAM, OLED with high Resolution screen, refresh rates above 60Hz and all phones were either not available in the US or were only $800. Next to. And that's less than half the price. This might be the best tech purchase I've ever made. Writes "Updated", but the phone came in perfect condition. I've been using a Galaxy S20+ and haven't noticed much of a difference between the two (I know the sd855 is slightly faster than the sd845, but OnePlus' tweaks go a long way towards closing the gap, especially with Samsung bloatware) . Anyway, I like this phone more for its pop-up camera and clean UI. The battery was 85% charged, which is enough for the time I will be using it. If you look at "best phones” lists, you won't find this on this list as they don't take into account previous generations or price. This phone outperforms the Pixel 4a (at the same price) and even outperforms some of the current flagships for the money. but for half to a third of their price. I know OnePlus lost their flagship killer reputation with the OnePlus 8, but if they released this phone now with its specs at this price point, it would be called a flagship killer. I would buy this phone again at any time.
