I was a little hesitant to order this product. Monocular 10X42 for less than 20 dollars I had my doubts. However, I ordered the product and was very surprised by the quality and clarity of this "mini telescope". Once you get used to adjusting your eye to an image, it will be very easy to use. Why am I saying this, if your eye is too close or too far from your eye you only see black. With minor adjustments, this issue has been resolved. The instructions are very simple, little information. Only for moving parts, the focus knobs on the top of the monocular and the eyepiece settings you need to adjust to get rid of the black image. Absolutely amazing quality for $20. I'm a stargazer and just having something small and light to quickly spot something in the night sky has enhanced my stargazing experience. I've also used it when I hear something at night or when my neighbor's dog barks (a very good dog only barks when he sees someone, by the way) and looks out the window at night, your eyes can play a cruel trick, "Ob someone is near this car or someone is moving in the shadows”, this monocular makes it easy for you to see what's going on at night.
