We have an 8.5 lb Maltese Lifeguard who loves to run but when she decides she has gone far enough she throws herself on the ground and refuses to to take another step. I would have preferred a larger and more secure harness hook to avoid any mishaps or problems if she sees a squirrel or whatever else she thinks she should be chasing. This is a comfortable sling for my little Maltese and also for my 6 foot husband. However, for my height of 5ft 4in, this seems a little uncomfortable. It seems well made with reinforced stitching at stress points and gives us a solution when my girl refuses to walk.
