Bought so I wouldn't ruin my shoes on the way to work. I was hesitant at first due to reviews saying it was slippery and ineffective, but I'm glad I bought it. I agree that the bottom plastic is a bit slippery, but an easy fix to this problem is to drag your left foot along the pavement and let the plastic scratch a bit. I'm talking about a red light about 100 feet away. Do this 3 or 4 times and the problem is solved! It's also quick on and off, making it easy to put on and take off. It attaches at the back to keep it from falling off while riding, and it can be adjusted to fit different shoes. I've had it for 6 weeks and wear it every day to work and it hasn't let me down yet.
