While Can You Handlebar Secondary Mustache Wax offers the strong hold I've been looking for, it's not my favorite wax in the strong hold category. I love Can You Handlebar beard products and really wanted to love this high tack wax as it is very hard to find nut free beard and mustache products. Difficult to get it soft enough for even application - I tried melting it under hot water, a hair dryer and a lighter. Unless I spend too much time combing through with a very fine comb and blow dryer, I always end up with dry bits of wax in my mustache. If I manage to spread it evenly, the wax inevitably shows through and my very light brown and gray mustache just looks dirty. After an hour or two, the handlebar tips start to separate and tangle, but overall shape holds up well. I will definitely be using beard products but will return to a different strong hold wax.
