I should have gone ahead and bought larger plastic clasps but I wanted silver so I gave these a try. When I opened the box I was disappointed, they weren't as big as I expected from the "JUMBO" backs. When I went to see if they would hold my large studs right up against my ear, I found that none of my large studs would fit in the holes. Only my small cheap earrings barely fit in the tiny holes in the backs of the earrings. After using a darning needle and hammer to enlarge the holes, I was able to adjust them to fit my large stud earrings, but they didn't support the earrings as much as the cheap plastic discs I have. not a fan
