Review on ๐Ÿถ Max and Neo NEO Nylon Buckle Reflective Dog Collar: Buy One, Save a Pup! by Nicole Walker

Tried twice/exchange is NOT nice

I would love this collar, beautiful and easy to put on and take off. HOWEVER, the first time around we lost the custom dog tags which for us were puppy specific. So I contacted the company. They sent a new collar (thanks). NOW it happened again! The label holder just fell off. Leave the bare threads hanging. But lost again new custom tags. Especially with gentle play and walks. Luckily this time the markers were found and returned. Happy day! I've never had this problem with other dog collars, mainly from Ruffwear, although they no longer have the collar style we like. Time to look for another collar. No more Max and Neo. One final note: I liked that they donated to dog rescues with every purchase. I just can't send search and rescue teams every time our tags are lost due to this recurring problem. Shot! Update: For those looking for a similar type of collar, I FOUND IT! Okay, this is a more expensive option, although not for free. The company is called "if barks". Found by searching the internet. Whatever the beauty, you can partially customize your own collar by choosing color options. COLD! You can also choose TWO very strong D-rings, one for attaching the leash and one for the tags. D-rings are an integral part. They are sewn into the band. They offer a secure hold for your tags. You will most likely never get lost again. So, a good option for those of us in the LOOST TAG CLUB (thanks to Max and Neo, poorly designed 'holder' tag).

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Some problems
