Installing the TCL Wifi Mesh AC1200 as a wireless router went smoothly. It took me just under 20 minutes (scrupulously following the quick install guide and manually entering the serial number when prompted to enter the QR code for each MS1G unit) to get the mesh system up and running. I was able to instantly double the Wi-Fi internet speed in the farthest corner of my living room. TCL's Wi-Fi applications are well structured and easy to use. Very happy with the purchase. Bonus note: I also installed the TCL Wifi Mesh AC1200 as a Wi-Fi booster instead of a Wi-Fi router by connecting the included Gigabit Ethernet cable to my old Wi-Fi router. They work like a charm and have a strong connection. The ability to work as a Wi-Fi router or Wi-Fi extender gives me a very good reason to buy this product.
