I was very happy to get the KeySmart Max after reading reviews and watching videos about it. However, I returned it for a number of reasons and got my money back. First of all I would like to point out that this is a great concept. Everyone loses their keys, so the Tile feature comes in handy. The LED light is great when you need a quick flashlight or need to open a door in the dark. Finally, its compactness reduces the space that a normal set of keys takes up in your pocket. So respect for these things. Functionality and "execution" is where I think it's lacking. Firstly, the main reason I brought it back is because the Tile feature kept beeping randomly in my pocket. And it won't close until three small beeps are heard within 30 seconds. Imagine you're in a meeting when this happens. It's also easy to press the "tile" button when you take it out of your pocket. Second, I only had 7 keys. 3 on one side, 3 on the other (plus the tool that came with it) and my car key on the key ring. It is said that it can hold 14 keys but I don't see how anyone can work like that. With only 7 keys, it's difficult to pull out a key when all the others should come out. It's like a pocket knife that has to pull out all the other tools to get to a tool. When you finally get it out, the rubber key ring will also be in the way. Assembly is terrible - lots of parts. The small 2" plastic screwdriver you receive should be longer. People don't have power at their fingertips. It also breaks every time you use it. I think it has a lot of potential but this thing needs a lot of work.
