They're a bit tricky to use, but once you use them right, they're a long hair dream. I used 1" orange strands for most of my hair. Medium for a few strands on top and thin for my front strands. I wouldn't use narrower ones as they make your hair frizzy. If you want a little frizz in the front, use using a curling iron Step 1: Comb clean, dry hair Step 2: Pin hair at the parting so the top half of the hair is out of the way Step 3: Divide the bottom hair into 4 equal sections, not necessarily to be exact Step 4: Hold strand, comb smooth, then take a spray bottle and spray lightly once in the middle and once on top Step 5: Wrap a section of hair from the root of the hair around the curler, starting at the top of the curler, away from the face (it's okay if the pieces curl up a bit) Step 6: Secure the Top Secure the hair with a small black rubber hair tie (mini hair ties) at the bottom of the curler. Step 7: Twist them up and overlap the ends as shown in the last picture. Step 8: Hold the ends together with the other ribbon. Then do the same for the top half of the hair. I slept in mine with a neck pillow and a hat on my head. Before taking them out the next day, spritz everything with hairspray. Then use your fingers to separate as desired. Don't comb.
