So in defense of these shoes I will say they appear to be well made, have good cushioning and a great color. Pretty handsome if you can get rid of the weird rear fin that detaches from it. I have very big feet for a woman. I'm almost 6ft tall and usually wear a size 11 so I run up to a size 12 for running - yes it's a shame to find shoes. Although my legs are long, they are very narrow. This shoe is VERY wide. I think they assume that if you have long legs, are they wide too? When I tried to tighten them the material literally folded in on itself and was still too wide. I was about to send them back and my husband decided to try them on. He loves them very much and said he would buy them again! I returned to Brooks. At least someone's shoes came out!
