Great alternative to pharmacy toothpaste. I suffered from dry mouth and Birning Syndrome for about 6 months. Fluoride toothpaste made things worse. Biotene toothpaste and mouthwash did not help. Even the fluoride-free toothpaste, which I prefer for a healthy lifestyle, made my mouth feel empty. Winterment is a thick honey colored gel, very gentle, soft and sweet. The combination of xylitol and colloidal silver protects my teeth and gums. And leaves a fresh (but not minty) and hydrated mouthfeel. If you're used to regular toothpaste, you need to get used to how different it is. But after 2 months of use I can't imagine EVER going back to regular toothpaste. As a side note, I think this would be a very smart choice for kids. The texture and taste are much nicer than even drugstore children's toothpaste.
