The ability for us as developers working in different teams using our own toolsets/environments (Jenkins) was that we could easily set up build environments across all of them from one place without having any overlap or problems getting builds out into production - this has been hugely beneficial! I also liked how easy it made managing Jenkins jobs through Git-Hub integration when pushing new changes at work etc., which would normally require some degree more overhead than just editing text files via FTP directly over SSH access if done manually each day by me personally..
