Review on Noctua NF-F12 iPPC-2000 - Ultimate Cooling Power for Heavy-Duty Purposes (120mm, Black) by John Bones

I took this to replace a broken fan in my Drobo 5n and it works great. The NF-F12 is actually an upgrade of the stock fan in almost every way. My Drobo runs quieter and cooler than ever. And with an MTBF of 150,000 hours I can expect this fan to last longer than the 4 year old fan. Warning if like me you are purchasing this fan as a replacement for Drobo. The NF-F12 has a three-pin connector, while the Drobo only has a two-pin connector. You need to connect the appropriate plug. However, if you're just looking for a decent 3-pin fan, this is a great buy.
