I bought this mug for my daughter (5 years old). We were looking for a cup that easily seals to prevent spills and an inner straw that stays attached during use. We had issues with flexible straws detaching from other types of cups and then the kids couldn't drink from them until they opened the lid and put the straw back in. This mug is perfect for us. Wonder Woman's design is bright and colorful. The mouthpiece is made of hard plastic and folds easily. The inner straw is also a harder plastic material. It stays in place even if the cup falls. So far we haven't had any issues with leaks, even when the cup is tipped on its side with the mouthpiece open. However, we didn't try to keep it upside down when open. We washed the mug by hand and in the dishwasher. We use a small brush (similar to a piping brush) to clean the straw as needed. I have found that hand washing the cap is the best way to get a really clean mouthpiece. This mug is not thermally insulated, so drinks won't stay cold for long. However, I just fill the cup with ice if the kids want a really cold drink while playing. Also, since this mug is not insulated, condensation will form on the outside of the mug. It's not a problem for us, but I'd like to know. Overall a great option for a baby carrier. Cute pattern options and great mug design.
