Actual size was a bit small. Ordered Wednesday for my Yorkshire Terrier as she is a big girl but she was cozy. Getting dressed was also a bit fiddly. The cap was light enough but with a stuffed head it's heavy for my dog but it's a cavalryman. The bodysuit and cape were not easy to put on. Maybe if the size was bigger. The bodysuit fits well, but the cape and collar are a single piece that attaches to the bodysuit with two Velcro straps. You need to put the collar around your dog's neck and position it correctly. Maybe it would have been easier to get ahead if he hadn't been small to begin with. My dog is quite a patient girl but it wasn't easy to get her to do it and I finally gave up. It's a real shame because I've loved Scooby-Doo all my life and this would be the perfect Halloween costume for her. I usually only put it on for a photo to post for my friends on Facebook because I waited too long to order and then didn't try it on until the 31st, didn't have time to send it back for a larger size or otherwise . costume, so we didn't get our annual Halloween photo, which is a real shame, but I have to take some of the blame for waiting until the very last minute.
