The upper is not the best leather in my rating
It was a decent shoe for the price and I wore it for 3 years until a piece of the upper ripped off from abrasion. It's either faux leather or just a thin layer of leather on top of some other material. If they choose a boy (I'm a woman who doesn't like feminine styles), they won't hit hard. I was hoping to buff out the scuffs but without a top coat they can't be saved.
- Great looking and well made shoes. The perfect shoes for little gentlemen.
- The metal detailing on the shoe can be potentially dangerous for young children as they could accidentally detach.
