Hated it. This tree is NOT, I repeat NOT hinged. I’ve had a hinged Christmas tree before and the metal branches were attached to the center pole with metal hinges so you would just let the branches drop then "fluff” out the little branches attached to them. That’s not what this is. These metal branches are "attached” to center pole with a lot of thread tightly wrapped around the bottom several inches of the main branches. I can only imagine (because it didn’t come with instructions) that means you are expected to bend the metal branches down at a 90 degree angle at the base in order to make it look like a tree, which would make it difficult to make it look even. This also begs the question, was it meant to be a permanent fixture in my household? Or was it intended to be a single use tree? I mean, if I try to bend them back up in order to store it after Christmas I’m pretty sure they won’t bend all the way back to their original position making it harder to stuff them back in the box and it’s possible they could just snap off, if nothing else, after attempting to use it for multiple years.Bottom line, unless you are looking for a disposable Christmas tree, don’t buy this one. I’m returning this as I am very dissatisfied.
