I was wearing the Trail Glove 3 sandals and my feet felt a bit bruised after a long walk on asphalt. My heel got rammed and my knee needed help with pronation. These Trail Glove 6 gloves have better heel protection and arch support BUT the toe sole is flexible and allows for full toe buoyancy (can tiptoe). They are very light and breathable. Very grippy sole. The tongue has elastic support so it doesn't slide sideways (I hate that!). I have high arches and I like the arch support. It may seem like a lot if you don't need it. At first I thought they weren't null. but they really are. The durable outsole construction gave the impression that the heel had height. I save the Trail Glove 3 for walking around the house instead of pounding the pavement. Oh, and they are BEAUTIFUL!
