I don't like writing negative reviews but here it is. good things first This timer is incredibly cheap, especially considering it's a 4 event timer. Second, it's easy to understand and use. Third, when the display works, it can also be read at an angle. After all, it has a strong magnet and a stable stand. I bought one of these years ago and it worked wonderfully and reliably until I dropped it. I just bought a new one last year. When it arrived it worked fine for a few weeks and then gave me a whole list of problems. I had another timer that I didn't really like that I used for a while. I took the risk that the bad one was an anomaly and bought two more. Both soon failed. It was possible to change your own time and eventually stop work altogether. The second beeps and stops working. It can be reset by removing and reinstalling the batteries. It will work fine for a while, but then the problem will return. So the bottom line is that 3 out of 4 of these timers were unreliable and unpredictable. Two of the three bad ones stop working completely and the third has intermittent problems. I assume it will stop working soon. I'm hoping the new timer I'm ordering today arrives before this last of 4 expires.
