I needed a replacement cable for my old GTX 580 PC. I don't know why a cable stopped working, in fact it has never happened to me. This caused a lot of headaches at first when I tracked down the issue as I assumed the cable was still fine and for some reason my monitor wasn't automatically switching sources. Anyway, my card doesn't support HDMI 2.0, but it will fit an HDMI 2.0 4K TV. So I ordered it just in case. I also tried this on my LG C9 OLED and I got a signal on my TV. The GTX 580 doesn't support 4K output so obviously that doesn't work, but I was able to get 1080P. It's a cheap cable, fairly cheaply made, but it does the job. That's all I care about considering it's not for my personal system.
