I've never been so thankful I bought this when my daughter got sick and threw up in the car. I was so afraid her nausea would seep into the seats and the smell would at least settle in the ceiling. But no! I was so thankful and shocked that it all came out, the smell and all. It failed and I bought another one because it works. Update: I've washed this cover twice, once when it arrived and once after my daughter got sick, I always wash it in cold water on a gentle setting (no heat fluff) with no other items attached and now it's torn at the seam during washing/air blowing process. I was happy with the quality before this happened, very disappointing.
