I've had two pairs of these shoes before and they've been great. Each pair has literally clocked up over 1,000 miles and they've been great on the road and on the track. Protect your feet from bumps and roots on the trail while providing great traction. This new couple is completely different. The sole is softer and you can feel the rocks and roots on the sole. I did two races in these shoes and later in the races my feet bothered me which was not the case with the previous two pairs. I like Salomon a lot but I won't buy them again.
