I bought two and a year later another one. The last purchase was from the seller Camelliam. The microphone broke after 2 years. Upon inspection and comparing it to my other two originals, I found it to be a fake. Telltale signs: - No "non-recyclable" logo on the XLR connector (small bin with a solid line) - The original microphone capsule is printed in white letters. There is a white spot on the fake. The wires that go internally from the XLR connector to the transformer are different colors. The original has shrink tubing, the fake doesn't. - The cutout around the logo of the original mic has rounded corners while the fake mic has sharp corners. - There is a metal "wing" that helps stabilize the XLR connector inside. . The original ones are pressed against the mic body, the fake ones have wings but they are not big enough to touch the mic body. The locking screw on the XLR is turned in the opposite direction to tighten the fake. Sound comparison up close, but the fake isn't as warm at a distance and is 3-5 dB less sensitive.
