Ideal for straining
I really like them and especially use them to wash legumes that shed their outer shell after soaking. This helps keep the coating in the jar as most of the nutrients are in the grain and I don't want it draining down the sink. I've also used it to strain water after cooking pasta or noodles. They are also easy to clean and odorless.
