I'm 5'5" 120 lbs (carry most of my weight in my hips/thighs) and ordered this in a small - it fits very well! I have a very long torso and super short legs and the pants just barely cover my ankles - if you are taller or have long legs expect the pants to be more of a cropped length on you. The waist is quite high (photo attached). I LOVE that the pants don't have pockets - everything has pockets nowadays and in a thick fabric like this, bulky pockets are extremely unflattering on pear shaped bodies like mine. For such a thick fabric the overall outfit is not nearly as unflattering as I expected it to be. But it's just as cozy as I expected it to be.It is VERY warm. I'm the type who always needs to wear a plush robe over my clothes around the house because I'm always cold. But this fuzzy outfit keeps me very warm, no robe necessary. Definitely not for warm climates. The fabric stayed *almost* as soft after washing. I washed them in cold water and then did a test. I put the pants in the dryer (on extra low heat, which is how I always dry my clothes) and air dried the top to see which one came out better. But to my surprise they were pretty much exactly the same softness at the end. So whichever method you prefer works just fine.Overall it's a cute pyjama set and I'm happy to have it! No quality issues so far but I'll update if that changes. If you want a really warm and cozy outfit I would recommend it.UPDATE - I wore this outfit for 3 days and it's been washed twice. After the last washing i noticed a big hole in the butt of the pants! Its very possible it was there after just one day of wearing it and I just didnt notice it until then. The pants are not very tight (in fact they stretch out quite a lot while wearing them and thats why i washed them again - more to get them back into shape than because i thought they were dirty) and there is 0 reason an expensive pair of pyjama pants should have a hole in them after just lounging around in them for a day or two. The hole is NOT on the seam. Its besides the seam. Its the actual fabric itself that has torn open. I see upon coming here to update this review that several others have had this problem so it doesnt seem like this is just a fluke. I am not impressed. It's still wearable as pyjamas around the house of course, but at this price point I'd expect much higher quality. I have to change my review from 5 stars to 2.
