This is the third MagSafe charger I've bought for my car and I'm glad I FINALLY found one that works! This is a great option that is fully compatible with my iPhone 12 Pro Max with the included power adapter. Many adapters and chargers either don't always charge the phone (some of the ones I've bought don't charge at all or only charge intermittently, turning on and off every few seconds) or don't have magnets strong enough to do that to hold phone. very big phone. However, this OTAO did everything perfectly - charged the phone quickly, even while using navigation or making calls. The charger is fully MagSafe compatible and charges easily through my MagSafe case. However, the charger does NOT have enough magnetic or electrical charge to hold/charge a phone that is not in a MagSafe case. The case has a good, solid connection to hold even the large iPhone 12 Pro Max in place while my Jeep navigates over hills, bumps, and uneven surfaces. What I really like about this holder is the stability - the clip that attaches to the vent opens wide and fits fully into the vent. A special knurled wheel allows this clip to be tightened firmly, allowing the clip's soft surfaces to sit securely against the vent without scratching it. Well-designed stops abut the front of the vent and help keep the clip in place. The result is the strongest mount I've ever had on a magnetic vent clip with my large iPhone. This feature alone was enough for me to warmly recommend this device. Recharging is a great added bonus. A separate tensioning mechanism on the vent allows you to adjust the magnet's attraction to a level that allows you to rotate your phone slightly on the ball joint mount for easy viewing - a slightly firmer grip for your large phone or less cramping for a small one Telephone and even easier setup. Either way, it's easy to adjust the mount to hold the phone securely in place while still allowing you to adjust direction and viewing angle with one hand. Another nice touch is the charge status indicator on top of the charger, which shows red when not charging and blue when charging. This is an easy way for you to know if the charger is actually working, even when the phone's screen is off. A nice detail that shows the attention paid to the design of this small phone holder. In short, I love this charger and am ordering another one for my wife's car. I cannot give a higher recommendation.
