Happy about other reviews. I didn't open them as they are sealed. Yes, I thought it was a bit odd, but I figured they would at least be clean and new by Christmas morning. stay warm Of course I didn't expect them to be snow or water resistant as they are fleece. However, based on the description, I was expecting them to be thicker and warmer for use on "non-snowy" days. I will return them. They are very overpriced in my opinion and I think I could sell them just as well or better (probably better) for a more modest price, say $1 or so at discount stores. do not think that they will warm the child's hands. I'll have to look for something thicker in normal department stores.
