I decided to switch to wireless charging when I got my new phone. I wanted to go with a magnetic charger. This was because the phone case I had had a metal plate built into it. Despite this, the phone fell off the charger and it was difficult at times to align the phone for charging. Then I looked at chargers. I actually just googled the best cradle charger and looked at what they had. The Squish Charger was one of those and the Revain had a return in stock. I ended up paying about $7 for the squish, which I think is about $32 for a new one. I figured for the price if it doesn't work it won't be much money. So as you can see from the photos I'm going to be using a bleed mount and I think it's a pretty solid mount. I installed it at the bottom of the vent first, and for some reason it seemed to move more than I did. This aborted the loading process. After moving it to the top of the vent, it became more stable and I had no trouble loading. It's fairly easy to install and uses a ball and socket connection with a nut that needs tightening to keep it from moving. It supports fast wireless charging via USB-C and also comes with a cup holder. Also, the phone and charger stay relatively cool when charging wirelessly. Squish recommends installing an air vent in the summer, since people are likely to have the air conditioning on. In the winter, you would switch to the included cup holder mount. The only problems, and they're picky, are that if you turn off the machine and forget to open the charging station, the charging station stays closed until it gets power. The stand closes automatically when the phone is placed on the charger. I have found that my phone sometimes sits at an awkward angle in the stand because it closes so quickly that I have to open it and adjust the phone. reliable charging system and I can't complain about the price. I think it's very good for the new price.
