Light weight but good build quality. I wish for more strength. It barely holds the Hero 4 Black with the extended battery installed. The blue tip of the pole is barely visible above the water. It would be hard to find if it was more than a few feet away from you while surfing or doing other water sports. I plan to put a strip of bright yellow or orange tape at the bottom to make it easier to see. On the other hand, carbon fiber sticks are great! Low weight is a real advantage. The rope strap is strong enough to hold whatever is attached to your wrist, so you hardly have to search for it. Good quality fittings. Finally, it looks good, not like a cheap piece of plastic that can quickly and unexpectedly leak and drown your camera. I recommend it but be aware that if you miss it in the ocean you might have to search hard for it or else I would give it 5 stars.
