These are beautiful stones. I actually bought two very similar sets because they each had different parts and I wanted my grandson to build a bigger city since he is in this phase of construction! 3. He is very fond of blocks at the moment. The quality of these blocks is very good and well made! Each is sanded nice and smooth, well painted, and made from solid wood, not faux wood. Do you know how to tell it's real wood when the block hits the ground? This is how they fell to the ground. They don't have edges that can cause splinters, I always look for that when I buy wooden toys. I'm always happy with quality toys because I've had my fair share of crappy ones! These are some of my favourites. They fold and balance well with each other if you use a flat surface as shown in my video. There is a cute little lower part that serves as a road connecting the building. The blocks are mixed in the bin and as both are very similar we can't tell them apart so sorry if I mixed up a block or two. Nonetheless, they are both great! I've seen a third set in pastels that I'm dying to add! What I liked was that it came packaged in premium retail packaging. no brown box so if i needed a gift it would be first on my list. !Some parts are double-sided, and the heat transfer on it is very good, they will not peel off or wear out. Their size is safe enough to allow them to play solo for the most part. except for a few smaller parts. They help with hand-eye coordination, color sorting, patterns, problem solving, and visual recognition when looking for the next part, etc. -6 years. it is more than building a city. My grandkids build their own houses and castles by placing the blocks in their own way. These blocks have been a useful tool over the past few months well worth the cost of both sets I bought! If you're a little builder and love wooden toys like me, this set would make a great addition to your collection! I can't find anything I don't like about them.
