Our house is small so we wanted something more compact for our new baby. Our old swing was big and bulky and eventually broke. I came across this new style of rocking and was a bit skeptical as it doesn't rock back and forth, it rocks sideways. Our little one loves this swing! Firstly, they come with a pillow, they are very soft and comfortable for the baby. It was extremely easy to assemble. Love the fact that it comes with a remote control so if I'm at arm's length I can still control the music and rock. He also seems to like music. The rocking back and forth was very gentle and put him to sleep. Also, it doesn't take up much space at all. Excellent purchase!
