This unit is an improvement over what I had, but it is not as perfect as I was hoping. I got this for my kitchen sink which is old school stainless steel with the raised edge. I have a spray hose hole that is currently plugged because the "new” faucet was not compatible. That will be significant momentarily. The pros: The plastic is heavy duty and easy to clean. The stainless steel wrap is nice because I can put my magnetic pan scraper on it (for whatever reason, it will not stick to the actual sink). However, it is a splatter magnet, and that is just how it is going to be, so I am over it. It is a good size - I’d say for me it is in the Goldilocks zone. That’s about all of the pros. I wanted the soap dispenser to work with foaming soap, but it does not. I am not holding that against the product because it was not advertised as such. It was not indicated at all which would have been nice. I just used it for my dish soap instead. The bucket doesn’t really work for the brushes etc. that I use. The "partition” is just a plastic bit that’s raised up a quarter of an inch or so. I have not decided if I will use it for my sponge or try to find a foaming soap dispenser that will fit inside it. My biggest beef is that there is nothing "antiskid” about the base. It looks like it should have rubber feet, but it does not. If the drain piece that sticks out didn’t rest on the hose hole plug, I think the whole thing would be falling into the sink every time I tried to get soap out of it. I am pretty unimpressed by this. I’m going to keep trying it out for now, but I don’t know that it will be a viable long term solution for this space.
