bought this because I always had dropouts on my previous N series wireless router types. I was always happy with tplink until the fallout started. I drive a Roadrunner turbo so it should be faster. I've noticed some speed increase on N routers. Now we come to that. It was difficult to connect to my laptops until I realized that you need to remove all previous connections connected to the old router, especially as I wanted to keep the ssid and passwords. Once that was done, everything ran like clockwork. The connection was the main wow. Email speed increased by 50% Facebook, no lag. search, call Love it. I would buy more - oh yes. Dual band is great. My phone extension is better, my no-crack Roku, my grandkids and our phones, tablets and 4 laptops coexist perfectly. I've had it for a week now and if there are any changes I'll update them. 20. Lots of WiFi in my house, phones, tablets, 5 PCs, 2 Rokus. Never a hiccup. I like this router, many friends have recco. Just a caveat, I have a Time Warner Turbo but when I had another expensive router before it still failed. NO LONGER. love this technique
