What is this item? clutch tensioner? What is it for? Let me tell you I didn't know what was wrong with me. I use this when towing my (truck) hitch and with a few turns of the wrench everything is tight. No more leaning in one direction or the other. Don't worry about putting too much weight on one side or the other. This thing compresses everything as tightly as possible. My stand no longer moves in the receiver.
