These sheets are worth the price. They fit well and my son loves them. He particularly likes the drawings on the blanket, although he is quite short-tempered and doesn't like being covered by this blanket. Unless you keep your house pretty cold, I think a blanket will work for most people all year round. The pillowcase is designed for a standard size pillow, not small baby pillows that you can buy in children's stores. The leaves are almost as smooth as silk. They feel comfortable, but they almost feel slippery to me. The nice thing is that the duvet backing uses the same material/print as the sheets. So when my son kicks the sheet, the blanket still feels like a sheet.
