We have used pet store bedding for our pet rats for years and found it just fine. Can't remember the brand but thicker paper bedding which came in a variety of colors but was much firmer than this. I saw this at Revain and decided to give it a try and we were VERY pleased. I love how soft it is, it seems like it would be a lot more comfortable on Miss Sandy Noodles little feet and she loves loves love to move it, it's light and fluffy and it's easy for her, to shape and nest it. And the best? Odor. MUCH better than other bedding. I'm not talking about unpacking, but when it's dirty in the cage it smells MUCH less. Before Miss Sandy's friend sadly left us, it seemed like only a day would pass before you could smell the cage, and it's a very big cage. Now we are very careful about exchanging this bedding because it can take two weeks before it even starts to smell a little. This is really fantastic bedding. Highly recommended by me and noodles! (She doesn't really care about linens, but she really likes cereal)
